PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Hair Rejuvenation is an advanced regenerative treatment designed to stimulate natural hair growth and improve hair density. The treatment uses the body’s own healing properties to strengthen hair follicles and encourage healthier, thicker hair.

During the procedure, a small sample of your blood is taken and placed into a specialised centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma. This plasma contains powerful growth factors that help stimulate hair follicles and improve scalp health. The PRP is then carefully injected into targeted areas of the scalp where hair thinning or hair loss is present.

The treatment helps increase blood supply to the hair follicles, prolong the growth phase of the hair cycle, and promote the development of stronger and thicker hair over time. PRP is a natural, minimally invasive treatment with little downtime.

Who Is This Treatment For?

PRP hair rejuvenation may be suitable for individuals who:

• Are experiencing hair thinning or early stages of hair loss

• Want to strengthen existing hair and improve hair density

• Have receding hairlines or thinning areas on the scalp

• Prefer a natural treatment using their body’s own growth factors

• Want a non-surgical solution to support hair restoration

This treatment is most effective for individuals in the early to moderate stages of hair thinning.

Why Choose PRP Hair Rejuvenation?

Stimulates natural hair growth

PRP contains growth factors that help reactivate weakened hair follicles and encourage healthier hair growth.

Improves hair thickness and density

The treatment strengthens existing hair and can help improve overall hair volume.

Natural and safe treatment

Because PRP is derived from your own blood, the risk of allergic reactions or complications is extremely low.

Minimally invasive procedure

The treatment involves small injections into the scalp and requires little to no downtime.

Supports long-term hair health

PRP helps improve scalp circulation and follicle health, promoting stronger and healthier hair over time.

AfterCare

Avoid Wearing Make-Up

Clients should refrain from applying make-up for at least 24 hours following treatment. This gives the skin time to recover and reduces the risk of product entering the injection sites, which could cause irritation or infection.

Delay Additional Treatments

Although patients may wish to enhance their results with further procedures, it’s important to allow the skin adequate time to heal. Additional treatments should be postponed for a minimum of two weeks. If visiting another practitioner, clients must inform them of their recent treatment, as the skin may remain more sensitive than usual.

Maintain Hydration

Encourage clients to drink plenty of water after treatment. Many skin boosters contain hyaluronic acid (HA), which attracts and retains moisture. Staying hydrated helps to optimise and prolong the treatment’s benefits.

Limit Sun Exposure

Direct sun exposure should be avoided immediately after treatment, as it can increase inflammation and compromise the healing process. If sun exposure is unavoidable, clients should apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher and wear protective clothing, such as a wide-brimmed hat.

Avoid Excessive Heat

Activities that expose the skin to high temperatures - such as saunas, steam rooms, or very hot showers - should be avoided during recovery. Excess heat can worsen swelling, bruising, and irritation.

Steer Clear of Certain Substances

Alcohol, smoking, and certain medications (such as ibuprofen) can increase the likelihood of swelling and bruising due to their effects on blood flow. Clients should avoid these for at least 24 hours post-treatment. For suitable pain relief options, they should consult a pharmacist.

Minimise Pressure and Touching

The treated area should be handled gently. Clients should avoid applying pressure - such as lying directly on the area - and refrain from unnecessary touching for at least 24 hours to reduce the risk of infection.

Pause Strenuous Exercise

Intense physical activity should be avoided for 24 hours after treatment, as increased blood flow and perspiration may contribute to additional swelling or bruising. Light activities, such as gentle walking, are generally acceptable.
