Full Face Threading / Waxing is a comprehensive facial hair removal treatment designed to remove unwanted hair from multiple areas of the face, leaving the skin smooth, clean, and refreshed.

This treatment typically includes hair removal from areas such as the eyebrows, upper lip, chin, sideburns, and other areas of fine facial hair. Threading uses a twisted cotton thread to gently remove hair from the root with precision, while waxing uses warm wax to quickly remove larger areas of unwanted hair.

Both methods provide longer-lasting results compared to shaving and help maintain smooth, well-groomed skin. The treatment also gently exfoliates the skin by removing dead skin cells, helping the complexion appear brighter and smoother.

Who Is This Treatment For?

This treatment may be suitable for individuals who:

• Want to remove unwanted hair from multiple facial areas

• Prefer longer-lasting hair removal compared to shaving

• Want smooth and well-groomed skin

• Are looking for a quick and effective beauty treatment

• Want to maintain a polished facial appearance

Full face threading or waxing is suitable for most skin types and is commonly chosen for regular facial grooming and maintenance.

Why Choose Full Face Threading / Waxing?

• Removes hair from the root

Hair removal from the root helps results last longer than shaving.

• Smooth and clean skin

Leaves the face looking fresh, smooth, and well-groomed.

• Gentle exfoliation

The treatment removes dead skin cells along with unwanted hair, helping brighten the skin.

• Quick treatment

The procedure typically takes 15–20 minutes.

• Longer-lasting results

Results usually last 3–4 weeks, depending on hair growth.

AfterCare

Avoid Wearing Make-Up

Clients should refrain from applying make-up for at least 24 hours following treatment. This gives the skin time to recover and reduces the risk of product entering the injection sites, which could cause irritation or infection.

Delay Additional Treatments

Although patients may wish to enhance their results with further procedures, it’s important to allow the skin adequate time to heal. Additional treatments should be postponed for a minimum of two weeks. If visiting another practitioner, clients must inform them of their recent treatment, as the skin may remain more sensitive than usual.

Maintain Hydration

Encourage clients to drink plenty of water after treatment. Many skin boosters contain hyaluronic acid (HA), which attracts and retains moisture. Staying hydrated helps to optimise and prolong the treatment’s benefits.

Limit Sun Exposure

Direct sun exposure should be avoided immediately after treatment, as it can increase inflammation and compromise the healing process. If sun exposure is unavoidable, clients should apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher and wear protective clothing, such as a wide-brimmed hat.

Avoid Excessive Heat

Activities that expose the skin to high temperatures - such as saunas, steam rooms, or very hot showers - should be avoided during recovery. Excess heat can worsen swelling, bruising, and irritation.

Steer Clear of Certain Substances

Alcohol, smoking, and certain medications (such as ibuprofen) can increase the likelihood of swelling and bruising due to their effects on blood flow. Clients should avoid these for at least 24 hours post-treatment. For suitable pain relief options, they should consult a pharmacist.

Minimise Pressure and Touching

The treated area should be handled gently. Clients should avoid applying pressure - such as lying directly on the area - and refrain from unnecessary touching for at least 24 hours to reduce the risk of infection.

Pause Strenuous Exercise

Intense physical activity should be avoided for 24 hours after treatment, as increased blood flow and perspiration may contribute to additional swelling or bruising. Light activities, such as gentle walking, are generally acceptable.
